Moe's Southwest Grill has opened a location at the new Downtown Summerlin shopping center. Previously the only way you could get Moe's is when you were traveling through the McCarran Airport. Choices include quesadillas, burritos and tacos. Meals come with a drink and a cookie. Adult meals come with chips and salsa, (they have a salsa bar) big enough to share with your kid.

Give a Wendy's Frosty for Halloween and help kids in foster care

Wendy's is expanding its popular Halloween coupon book program nationwide this year to help kids in foster care. From now until October 31,2014 you can pick up a Halloween coupon book filled with free frosty coupons for just $1* at participating Wendy's stores. Ninety cents of every dollar collected will go to the Dave Thomas Foundation For Adoption® (DTFA) to help find families for the 134,000 children waiting in foster care.

"This is the first time we're bringing our Halloween Coupon book program to restaurants nationwide, giving customers a simple way to help children in foster care – and get a sweet deal on Frosty treats in return," said Liz Geraghty, Vice President, Brand Marketing. "We expect this will be our largest fundraising program of the year, which rounds out our year-long effort aimed at shining the light on foster care adoption and further the mission of our founder Dave Thomas, who himself was adopted."

Books will be available for purchase beginning on Sept. 15, with coupons being redeemable November 2014 through February 2015.

Each corn dog on a stick you buy will either display an “Instant Win” prize or a code to enter online atwww.cashinonacorndog.com.  For the first time ever, Wienerschnitzel is giving away $1,000,000 when a participant matches two sticks, one printed with the word “Wiener” and the other printed with the word “Schnitzel.” Guests have a one in five chance of winning  900,000 free corn dogs.

Wendy's Kids Meals only $1.99 for a limited time

For a limited time, parents can take the kids over to Wendy's restaurants after 4 p.m. to get a kids meal for only $1.99.  Wendy's runs this promotion ever so often and you just have to watch for it in ads and on social media. The toys right now are Superman and Wonder Woman!

Buffalo Wild Wings Kids Menu

The kids menu at Buffalo Wild Wings is pretty basic. It has of course, wings and other things like cheeseburgers and mac & cheese. What it doesn't say is if it comes with a drink or sides.

Applebee's introduces new kids menu

On January 8, 2014, Applebee's  introduced a new kids menu that more choice and healthful options.

The new Applebee’s kids’ menu includes:

• A two-tiered menu with entrée options for older kids with bigger appetites and younger kids with smaller appetites.
• 10 new Kids LiveWell-approved meals with three entrée options, including chicken, steak and pasta. Previously, the Applebee’s kids’ menu had just two meals that qualified under the Kids LiveWell nutritional guidelines.
• 2 Kids LiveWell-approved side items, and 11 total side choices, including Kids LiveWell-approved and all-natural GoGo squeeZ Applesauce and Kids LiveWell-approved steamed broccoli, apple slices with all-natural yogurt, all-natural yogurt and strawberries, white rice, salads and carrots or celery with ranch dressing.
